Juan Rodriguez started baking at the age of 10. He owned his first bakery in Mexico by the time he was 17. After moving to San Francisco in 1999 to bake in California, Juan decided to find a warmer climate and relocated to Farmersville. He met his wife Rita there and together they moved their family to Porterville to open their own bakery. Juan always wanted this to be a family affair. Any day of the week you stop by to visit you might find Juan’s wife, son or brothers fast at work.Since building their new location in 2004, Juan has seen his business grow. So much, in fact, that he keeps his store open seven days a week from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.
