After spending his high school years working for his father’s bakery in Germany, Wolf Dalichau moved to the United States in 1958. Traveling across the country, Wolf found himself perfecting his craft in bakeries in Chicago, Miami Beach and Los Angeles. He opened his first bakery in Valencia, CA. After meeting his wife, Malou, they decided to settle down, make a home and open their own bakery in Stockton, CA. This is where M&W has been located for the last eight years. Wolf keeps himself busy baking for the storefront and the farmer’s markets they participate with, while Malou can be found behind the counter sprinkling her charm on every customer who walks through the door.
