From modest beginnings of delivering pastries that his parents prepared in their home kitchen, George Medina was certain to make baking the legacy of his family like his grandfather and father before him. George ventured out on his own with his wife, Dolores, in 1994 when the opened the Donut Deli in Modesto, California. The couple spent 18 hours a day to make, deliver and serve donuts to their customers. This was their life and they were passionate about doing it right. Their love for baking grew into multiple businesses that employee 35 people between their steakhouse, taqueria, panaderia, wholesale bakery business and their original donut shop.
