From modest beginnings of delivering pastries that his parents prepared in their home kitchen, George Medina was certain to make baking the legacy of his family like his grandfather and father before him. George ventured out on his own with his wife, Dolores, in 1994 when the opened the Donut Deli in Modesto, California. The couple spent 18 hours a day to make, deliver and serve donuts to their customers. This was their life and they were passionate about doing it right. Their love for baking grew into multiple businesses that employee 35 people between their steakhouse, taqueria, panaderia, wholesale bakery business and their original donut shop.

“My grandfather bought from Robb Ross, my father would only work with Robb Ross … and I’m proud to say that Robb Ross is a vital part of our business too.” George Medina, Owner

Everyone at Robb Ross Foods is just as happy to make our family-run business a part of yours too.

After spending his high school years working for his father’s bakery in Germany, Wolf Dalichau moved to the United States in 1958. Traveling across the country, Wolf found himself perfecting his craft in bakeries in Chicago, Miami Beach and Los Angeles. He opened his first bakery in Valencia, CA.
Porterville, CA

Juan Rodriguez started baking at the age of 10. He owned his first bakery in Mexico by the time he was 17. After moving to San Francisco in 1999 to bake in California, Juan decided to find a warmer climate and relocated to Farmersville. He met his wife Rita there and together they moved their family to Porterville to open their own bakery. Juan always wanted this to be a family affair. Any day of the week you stop by to visit you might find Juan’s wife, son or brothers fast at work.Since building their new location in 2004, Juan has seen his business grow. So much, in fact, that he keeps his store open seven days a week from 5:30 a.m. to 9 p.m.

“Robb Ross helped our business grow and become stronger. They have great products, exceptional drivers and they’re always willing to go above and beyond to help us out.” Juan Rodriguez, Owner

Robb Ross Foods has always been family owned and operated. And we’re always happy to support another family legacy. Congratulations on your success.

Since Ken and Susie Jevec’s humble beginning selling apples and country-boutique gifts in 1995, Cider Creek Bakery has grown to become a local favorite and an eatery destination for tourists visiting the wine country. Constant innovation helped them grow their business to include pickled vegetables, teas, jellies and preserves over the first few years. It was the addition of three bakers and their talents making cookies, pastries and pies that allowed them to expand their product line to include over 100 baked goods. Outgrowing their country roots, Cider Creek Bakery found new customers and success in 2008 when they moved to a contemporary location in the heart of Paso Robles.
